Why not give them a boost? I think it could be a very interesting and popular way for people to give without having to give huge amounts of money.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Although Syufy is not Catholic herself, she admires Catholic education of the whole person. \u201cI sent my children to Catholic school,\u201d she says. \u201cThey got an absolutely fantastic education.\u201d She has made gifts to several Catholic schools and aims to help provide a better experience for students through her middle-income giving.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBoth of my daughters had very good experiences at Georgetown,\u201d Syufy says. \u201cI think middle-income students should be able to have a good experience too.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Syufy says that hearing from scholarship recipients brings her personal satisfaction. \u201cI get letters from students who received scholarships that are just wonderful,\u201d she says. \u201cThey are extremely appreciative.
