Title:Together in Hoya Spirit

When the global pandemic hit in 2020, Georgetown switched to remote learning in order to ensure the health and safety of students, faculty, and staff. In a year full of changes and uncertainty, students learned to adapt to remote classes, virtual office hours, Zoom study groups, and online clubs. Taking to heart Georgetown’s Jesuit value of cura personalis—care of the whole person—they looked out for one another and built a sense of community to get through an extraordinary time, together in Hoya spirit.
